Remember when

Andrew was a chubby guy?
Andrew at 4 months.  He was huge!
He went for a wellness check last week with a new pediatrician.  The physician was pretty funny, chuckling and calling Andrew "a bit of a stringbean" since Roo is in the 75th percentile for height and the 20th for weight. He concluded the visit by saying, "Well, things look great.  The only abnormal thing about this boy is how talkative and cooperative he is for a 2 year old!"
Usually I wouldn't say it was fun to go the doctor, but my boys had a ball playing in the waiting room with a few other kids, and it's always nice to hear the boys are healthy.  Sammy is in the 75th percentile for height and the 60th percentile for weight, so he is definitely slimming down as he gets older even though he still eats a lot.  Looks like those tall and thin Barber genes are going to prevail for both my kids.

p.s.  My brother Jared is pictured above, the first time he met Andrew.  Jared is a 25 year old college graduate who works full time in Orem Utah, is active and devoted in our church, funny, and likes hunting/outdoors and BYU sports .  I'm glad he's my brother and I'm very proud of the choices he's made and the man he is turning out to be.  This is my shameless plug to ask if anyone knows a girl I could set him up with.  And maybe now I'll know if he ever reads my blog. :)

Ha...sounds like Olivia. She is tall and skinny. I'm just not sure where the tallness comes from for her.

Great plug for Jared!

Wahaha! I love it. And I vote for one of Katharine's sisters, too. At least from the pictures I've seen, they are cute. :) Sadly I have no one to offer up for the matchmaking scheme. OH and back to the main topic, I love your string beans. Thanks for sharing.

baaa ha ah aha ha!!! I love that story. If I find any awesome girls, I will set him up with them. Especially if they hunt and are smart. (Was that the requirements? Or was that your other brother?)
