Spring hitTexas

Today was 79 degrees, tomorrow will be in the low 80's, and it feels amazing.
Today Sam hit 14 months, and Andrew had the worst tantrum he's ever had.  Out where people could see, of course. But oh well, it was still a good day.  We started off with some morning chores like dishes and mopping, then walked down the street to pay visits to ladies from church.  That's when Andrew lost it over not being able to open a door all by himself because it had a childproof knob.  Disaster ensued.  After we made it home and Roo cooled his jets, we ate lunch and celebrated Spring with some Springtime Oreos.  (I kind of stink at giving up chocolate until Easter, but I will try again tomorrow).

Sam is really good at whipping off his bib in a flash, so he made himself filthy and had to wear a new shirt.
Then we headed outside for some sandbox in the sun.

Andrew commented, "Mama, it too hot.  And too bright.  I might need go inside."  And I replied, "Just wait til July, baby.  Let's stay outside while we can."
Play time was followed by some water to cool our warm skin (Andrew really, really wanted me to take a picture of his foot and his bandaid while he drank his water...um, okay)

and a nice nap for all three of us, then a trip to a neighbor's house to see their baby lamb that lives in the house and acts like a puppy.  We went home for dinner, then promptly headed back outdoors for Andrew to ride his trike and Sam and me to work on Sam's walking until it was time to get ready for bed.
Check off another satisfying day. Badabing, badaboom.
